| When I was a kid I went to church with Mom, my brother, and one of my sisters. My mom went to a Pentecostal church and my Dad did not really agree with the belief system of that church although he did not go to church himself. My Dad's family goes to a much more quiet and subdued type of church that is very old fashioned in that they believe that women should say nothing in church and the men should do all the preaching, teaching, etc......
I guess at about the age of 12 I quit going to church all together and went several years where I would just go to church on Easter and maybe Christmas. Then when my Dad died which was 2 years ago I really got into church again and began attending pretty regularly again for a while. Now I kind of have stopped going again. I haven't been since about January I guess. |
