Herm Edwards Named Chiefs Head Coach
Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Monday that he has appointed Herm Edwards as the 10th head coach in Chiefs history. Edwards agreed to a four-year contract with the club. Per Chiefs policy, no other terms of the agreement were made available. As compensation for Edwards, the Chiefs have traded a fourth-round draft choice in 2006 to the N.Y. Jets.
