| I'm a Red Sox fan and I look at it like this. The first 2 years, his production would be the same but the last 2 years when he gets to 35, 36 years old, the guy isn't the best defender in the world and he would only get worse. The Yanks are paying him 13 mil a year. I wouldn't have liked this deal if the Red Sox signed him for more than 11 mil. I just go back to the Bernie Williams effect and how he just got worse this past season. |
