A person shouldn't have to wait 25 years knowing that he is going to die and when. At least his victims got to die right away. 25 years later they are not killing the same man who did those things back then. It serves no one killing him now.
A mother of one of the victims was looking forward to being their and watching him die. Taking pleasure in someones death no matter what they did, TWENTYFIVE years later is fucked up. |
I believe you are disturbed. The man created a criminal organization, killed several people for which he was convicted of a crime, and undoubtly killed many, many more...yet your sympathy falls for this man?
It took 25 years because that's how the legal system works in The United States. It takes time to go through all the procedures to ensure that he's actually guilty. It's better to wait then kill an innocent man, isn't it? Futhermore, you're method of death is to just have him wait in the jail cell forever. That's far more cruel.
This fellow never asked to be saved either. He was in no great emotional turmoil about being executed. That's something you've invented to make it more dramatic.
You have a screwed up concept of justice, life, and death.
