| I don't think UK or the Soviet Union would've had a good time with Japan. They had a lot of biological weapons in the works, ones that only needed a little bit more time to come into being, and that time would've been needed for both countries to defeat Germany. Of course, with American intelligence---the best in the world---we probably were wrong on that too. It may have been a cover up to drop the bomb and secure power against the Soviets.
I believe Churchill wanted to fight Stalin over Poland but the U.S. talked him down. |
