That means we'll have to make even more cuts in our budgets and fuck up our own economy to pay them back. They have us in a bad position. It may not be a military might issue, it's certainly not something out of spite on their part, but they hold a tremendous amount of power over the United States.

The same can be said with a lot of other countries but Japan has been one of our biggest lenders, since those famous Reagan years.
