| What do you think will happen if Japan has further economic problems? What if this bird flu shit goes wild? What if a flury of other possible problems arise? They will want their money back.
That means we'll have to make even more cuts in our budgets and fuck up our own economy to pay them back. They have us in a bad position. It may not be a military might issue, it's certainly not something out of spite on their part, but they hold a tremendous amount of power over the United States.
The same can be said with a lot of other countries but Japan has been one of our biggest lenders, since those famous Reagan years. |
