This is writing 101 and the easiest and best way to put Smackdown on the right road to Wrestlemania.

First a news snipit from WWE.com:

SmackDown's captain Batista will be leading his team of Randy Orton, JBL, Lashley & Rey Mysterio as they charge into RAW this week, but what will they have in store for their Survivor Series opponents?

I fully expect Randy to turn on Batista and put him out of the picture for 6-8 weeks (time for Batista to rehab). Randy wins the ensuing Tournament/Title Match (title vacated on WWE's optional 30-day defence rule). Big Dave comes back after 6-8 weeks and chases Randy all the way to 'mania (of course with Randy screwing him out of every possible title shot i.e. eliminating him at the rumble and run-ins on No1 contender matches). Thus setting up the absoulute shoe-in for the Wrestlemania Main Event.

Easy, but true.
