I don't really blame myself for this anymore.

See this is why some people become more "spiritual" than I am. Something happens in their lives that makes them take a turn in another direction and, if you don't believe it happened for some kind of greater good, it must be real difficult to move away from it and get on with life.

Nothing like that (thankfully) has ever happened to anyone I even know let alone are close to which explains my indifference to spiritual or even religous matters.
