I tend to follow the players more so than the teams.
For example.
Also, keep in mind that my team is and will always be the Patriots, but I enjoy the NFL so much that I watch whatever is on and will be rooting for someone.
I loved John Elway as a kid, so I loved the Broncos. When he retired I didnt give a rats ass about the Broncos.
I was also a big Giants fan as a kid since they were the only team shown in New England. (Pats were blacked out all the time)
But there are some teams that I just can't freaking stand just because of their personel.
Like the Raiders with Al Davis and all those idiot fans.
Rams with Mike Martz
Minnesota stinks.
I could go on and on but I think/hope you get my point.
Like 10 years ago you would have seen me jump off the empire state building before rooting for the Cowboys, but now with Bledsoe Parcells and Keyshawn I just want them to win baby !! |
