It has it's ups and downs but I am still on the fence. What bothers me is when a team ties and lose the shootout and someone says they beat so and so. I point out well they wone a shootout you mean and got more points. But they didn't beat them in a game. |
i agree with u..if u don't like OT..u don't really love hockey..i remembered watching those long ass playoff OT...is soo excited..is not even funny...once ur fav team pop in that OT goal..u can feel the excitement just like the players too, jumping around. Beside if you score a long period OT goal, u can feel the hard defeat the other team has, cause they're just one chance one shot away from winning, that one mistake, just kill them.
the shoot out is ok i guess, it really show ur skills as a player or as a goalie cause the goalie can show case how good they are in net. But i find that the shootout just don't have the excitement like OT does. hey Ida do u know that if the shootout applies to playoff too? cuz if it does, then it will suck big time
