I'm reading a business motivation book

You're probably thinking who gives a fuck you dumb nerd. You're probably right, but in this book (It's pretty good BTW. It's called: "The Little Red Book of Selling" By Jeffrey Gitomer [He's gotta be gay]) it goes through a few different rules on "successfully" setting yourself up for a sale.

The first rule is; Kick your own ass

"Do you have all the sales training you need? Do you watch TV at night when you should be reading sales books or getting ready for your sales call the next day? Do you party at times when you shouldn't? Do you get to work "on time" rather than make a sales call and a sale in the morning?"

How many of us does that describe? Me for sure.

It then goes on to say;

"These are all symptoms. Not problmes. They are symptoms of the fact that you're not self-motivated. That you are not self-starting. That you are not sales responsible. And that you're looking at your position as a job, not as a career."

So folks. Kick your own ass. That's the answer. Just kick it ... right fucking now! Kick it.

BTW, I actually really recommend this book for someone looking for a job in the office like area. It's suprisingly kept my attention up to page 33. Enough of this business shit now.
