| The NFL is what it is and the CFL is what it is. AS to you thinking that the CFL is better in rules is completely your own opinion. You say there is a lot more than can be done offensively, well what about the defense? I like the NFL more for every same exact rule that you posted. You can't say there is more stratedy when there is more room, to me you have to have a better strategy when there is less room to work with. And as for the CFL players being better, they an't hold a candle to NFL players. You say it is all about $ and that is not the case. If so why is Winters merely a back up and not a starter? Green is so so and I hate the Chiefs with a passion, but I'll be the first to admit that Green is better than any QB in the CFL and he is about mid way up the rankings in the NFL. Being promoted to the NFL is just that, a promotion, not a lateral move. There is a reason that the NFL has media coverage un paralleled, it is more liked by the majority of the people. The NFL has been around much longer, it emulates it's style from the collegiate foundation of the actual sport. The CFL takes the concept and then makes a few changes here and there and all of a sudden it's supposed to be better? The reason the NFL is better in the opinion of most is that the NFL is true to the origins of the sport and it has not changed all that much over the years. The NFL has a better fan base, better players, better teams, and in general is just better. And as for the time clock goes, it may have something to do with that in depth strategy that the NFL has... and for the record... Ricky Williams is a joke... if you really want to make an argument I wouldn't use on of the most overated RB's in the NFL in ecent memory to do it. His stats are mediocre... he just has a weird streak to him that draws attention. |
