| There are definitely some CFL fans who like it for what it is, but realize it's not the best, like Sawaryn does. Others like this guy lives in Saskatchewan and well, what else are ya gonna do there? I'm not the insult type, but really, the post is just bad. It's fine to not like the NFL. I don't care if you think it's inferior. Just don't come in here with things like saying the CFL was ever better talent wise because it's not even close. Just because Moon, Flutie and Garcia made a few Pro Bowls doesn't mean the CFL is close to the same level. It just means those three as players used the CFL to better their games, which is why it's a MINOR LEAGUE used to develop talent. For some it's their career, which is great. I think it's awesome that there's other avenues to play pro football in with the AFL and NFL Europe being the others.
But please spare me the "CFL is better than the NFL because..." garbage because it's just wrong.
It would be like me saying the OHL is better than the NHL because an OHL team is in my city (London, ONT) and I have more access to it. It's not better. I enjoy it, but it's not better. There's a difference. And I'm not usually the type to say an opinion is wrong. In this case you are wrong. Way wrong.
In closing, thanks for the comedy. I needed the laugh. What's sad is that half of my fellow Canadians probably are of this similar opinion. People are so misinformed up here. It's nuts. At least the NFL coverage is getting better in this country. |
