| I will celebrate it and I think it's unfortunate that people are so bitter about it. Like you guys said, he's never tested positive and he's just as big now as he's always been, which makes me think that if he has been on steroids, it hasn't been a huge difference maker. I assume people don't believe he's still on steroids because of the new testing policies, and he's still hitting 450 ft homeruns.
The playing field has never been totally fair in baseball. From spitballers to segregation, every generation has it's flaw, and I think history will recognize Bonds as the true homerun champ if and when he breaks the record, even if this generation doesn't. |
