Well, initially the Bush administration was blaming the local and state governments.

Michael Brown had absolutely no idea what he was doing and needed to step down. Thankfully he did.

He's riding Arabian horses as we speak.

But my point is that you needed to point the finger at him. Clearly he mucked up so badly that he was really putting the rescue effort in danger.

I'm not so confident in the inquiry myself. Ask John F. Kennedy or the victims of 9/11 how those things go. It's pure politics on both sides and neither will give in too much about what they did wrong.

Hopefully, much of the inquiry, now that Bush has accepted blame, will be focused on how to do better next time rather then trying to destroy the image of certain politicians.
