Jim Ross: Thats right Joey! EWA is the new face of pro wrestling!

Joey Styles: Here comes our owner, Larry Zbysko, to the ring.

*Larry Zbysko walks to the ring and gets a mic*

Larry Zbysko: Welcome to EWA Turmoil! We are a new organization, devoted to bettering the industry of pro wrestling! We have a great show for you tonight, with the start of a Gold Rush Tournament for the EWA Ultimate championship! Regarding the others, I have named the top 2 contenders to have matches at the Royal Rumble. Lets get the show started!

Gold Rush Tournament, Round 1, Match 1, CM Punk vs. Christopher Daniels

Lillian: Making his way to the ring, CM Punk! His opponent, Christopher Daniels!

The ref rings the bell and the match is underway immediately. Punk and Daniels are exchanging right hands in the center of the ring when Punk dodges one and runs toward the ropes. Punk attempts a moonsault of the top rope but Daniels catches Punk in the air! Daniels runs sets Punk up upside down on the ropes and goes to the other side of the ring. Daniels runs to Punk and tries a dropkick. Punk dodges and Daniels hurts his leg and is rolling around in the ring grasping his knee. Punk sees this and stomps repeatedly on Daniels knee. Punk than applies a submission hold to the legs. Daniels reverses and gets Punk in a roll up pin grabbing the ropes! 1...2...3!

Winner: Christopher Daniels

Joey Styles: Advancing to round 2 is Christopher Daniels.

Jim Ross: Coming up next is Edge vs. Jeff Jarret.

*Jeff Jarret comes to the ring.*

Jeff Jarret: Say hello to your next EWA Ultimate Champion! This tournament is insulting to me! Im too good for these people! Edge, get your ass out here so we can start this match!

Gold Rush Tournament, Round 1, Match 2, Edge vs. Jeff Jarret

Edges music comes on but he is nowhere to be seen. Jeff Jarret turns around and gets hit with a Spear! 1...2...3!

Joey Styles: Oh my god!

Jim Ross: Well thats an easy advance for Edge

Joey Styles: Well JR, that win for Edge puts him one step closer to a championship match at the Royal Rumble pay per view which is only 4 weeks away.

Jim Ross: Also at the pay per view, there will be a Royal Rumble 30-man match. The winner faces the champion at Wrestlemania!

*The camera goes to Maria backstage with Randy Orton.*

Maria: Randy, are you afraid of your match with Abyss tonight?

Randy Orton: Abyss? Hell no! I was the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in history! I fear no man!

Maria: Well, Abyss is kinda scary, with the chains and the black mask.

Randy Orton: Oh please! Abyss aint got crap on me! Now excuse me, I have a match to get to.

Gold Rush Tournament, Round 1, Match 3, Randy Orton vs. Abyss

Lillian: Making his way to the ring, Randy Orton! And his opponent, Abyss!

As the match gets underway, Orton and Abyss start grappling in the middle of the ring. Abyss and Orton start exchanging right hands. Abyss knocks Orton down and starts kicking him. Orton grabs Abyss's foot and applys a Sharpshooter. Abyss is on the verge of tapping when he grabs the rope. Orton breaks the hold and waits for Abyss to get up. When Abyss gets up, Orton attempts a clothesline but Abyss dodges and Orton goes flying out of the ring. Abyss goes to the top turnbuckle and when Orton gets up, he gets hit with a flying clothesline. Abyss continues by smashing Ortons head inot the ringpost. Abyss tries a chokeslam onto the steel steps, but Orton reverses into a DDT! Orton pushes Abyss into the ring and 1...2...kick out! Orton gets poised for an RKO and Abyss gets up. Abyss counters the RKO pushing Orton to the mat and then Orton gets hit with a Black Hole Slam! 1...2...3!

Winner: Abyss

Lillian: Heres your winner, Abyss!

*As Orton walks out of the ring, Maria comes and asks for another interview. Orton pushes her away into the steps!. Christian comes out to defend Maria.*

Christian: Orton! Get your ass back here! How the hell could you treat a defenseless woman like that!?!?

*Orton walks back to the ring.*

Randy Orton: Shut the hell up Christian! Dont piss me off!

Christian: Whatever! Now get the hell out of the ring! I have my match next!

*As Randy Orton turns around, Maria slaps him in the face! Temporarily distracted, Christian hits Orton with an Unprettier!*

Gold Rush Tournament, Round 1, Match 4, Christian Cage vs. Tommy Dreamer.

Lillian: Making his way to the ring, Tommy Dreamer! His opponent, already in the ring, Christian Cage!

The ref starts the match and the two combatents stare eachother down in the middle of the ring. Christian kicks Dreamers knee and knocks him down. Christian picks him back up and Irish Whips him into the ropes and then does a back drop! Christian continues with the right hands but Dreamer counters one and gives some hits of his own. Christian dodges one and hits an Unprettier! 1...2...kick out! Dreamer gets back up to his feet. Christian is arguing with the ref when Dreamer hits a clothesline! Dreamer had inadvertantly knocked out the ref! Dreamer leaves the ring to get a chair, but Christian recovers. Dreamer gets in the ring and tries to hit Dreamer with the chair but he dodges and dropkicks it into Christians face! The ref regains conciousness and Dreamer covers Christian, 1...2...kick out! Christian recovers, only to be caught in a barrage of right hands. Dreamer goes for a DDT, only to get caught with a back drop by Christian. Christian goes to the top turnbuckle and does a Frogsplash! 1...2...3!

Winner: Christian Cage

Jim Ross: So there you have it! The end of round 1 in the Gold Rush tournament.
Joey Styles: Next week, It will be Christopher Daniels vs. Edge and Abyss vs. Christian Cage! The winners will face eachother in round 3!
