Welcome everyone to the 2005 JVN/NFL Elimination Pool. Very little time and very little NFL aptitude is required to join the pool, so feel free to take part!

Beginning with this Sunday's games (Thursday's game is excluded due to short notice), the goal is to select the one NFL team who you most think will WIN their game. If they win, you remain; if they lose, you're eliminated.

Simple, yeah? Well, fairly simple... During the course of the season -- or however long it takes to eliminate all but one poster -- you can only select each team as your projected winner ONCE. So if I were to play Arizona as my Week 1 winner and they won their game, I would be forbidden to ever choose them again.

The only other rule I can think of is that when it comes down to deciding the pool's ultimate winner (ie. last two or three standing), to win you have to make a correct prediction in the final week. If there is a week where everyone's team loses, that week is washed from the records, and those left from a week before have a second chance.
