College football

Anybody follow college football? I dont really...I follow Michigan a bit, and I love when teams that make dick moves fall flat on their face (like Nebraska last year, after firing their coach after a 9-3 season). I will be rooting hard against Notre Dame this year, and rooting hard for Washington.

It's funny I just saw a poll on ESPN.com asking what conference the national champion would come from. Each state was colored according to which conference led the poll in that state.

The northern midwest (Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, et al) was for the Big Ten.

The Southern Midwest (Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, et al) was for the Big 12

The Southeast (Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, et al) was for the SEC

The Southern East coast states (Floida, Maryland, the Carolinas, et al) up to Maryland was for the ACC

The Western States (California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, et al) was for the Pac-10

so, basically, every region voted for the conference that is located in that region.

The one region of the country that doesnt have a major conference (the Northeast...and no, I dont count the Big East) picked the Pac-10.

So, the only unbiased area picked the PAC-10, but I'm sure they're just picking USC
