| Conveinancy, technology, the future, it all scares me.
Especially when it comes to jobs. There will no doubt be some kind of system that leaves out shop assistants, there will be no checkouts, it will be an automated system.
Its just one more thing that will lead to an incredible lack of jobs. Any kind of supermarket or clothes shop or food shop will need 1 or 2 people to run it, just to stock it and keep it looking nice. People will be able to just walk into a shop, pick up some jeans, press a button and walk out.
Im going completely off topic but its the same deal as the great factory work era that had employed so many people and kept smooth running economies everywhere, now being destroyed by machines. |
