Yeah, I have no idea whether Pujols is really as young as they say, but you have to remember...these guys have to stay healthy too. Look what happend to Griffey. McGwire fell apart real quick, Sosa is falling apart as we speak, maybe those guys are falling apart because of steroids, but I doubt Griffey was on steroids..
But yeah, if A-Rod stays healthy he'll have a good shot at the record. I'm just saying that people like Hank Aaron will give Bonds a hug when he breaks the record, and it will piss people off..
On a side note, I never thought I'd be talking about my boy Andruw Jones as being a possible hall of famer, but he's 28 years old, is on the verge of 300 career home runs and is the best CF of his generation...
I think he's gonna get in.
And lastly, seeing how we are talking baseball, can you believe that there are only 2 people in the history of baseball with 3,000 hits and 500 home runs? And guess what? Rafael Palmeiro is going to make that club..It's insane. I never think of the guy as being great, he's never won an MVP, he's never lead the league in homers or RBIs but his fuckin' stats are mind blowing..
