I think it's a good idea. I'm not sure what to do with Foulke at this point, but Schilling would definitely be able to get the job done in that role. One problem though, the Sox will need to get Schill in the rotation at some point to get ready for the playoffs so it's only a short-term fix for the team..
I think Bronson should be the closer of the future..He's got nasty stuff but is way too inconsistant as a starter...I remember him against the Yanks in the playoffs last year he was unhittable when he'd come in the game for an inning or two.
But still, what to do with Foulke? He's clearly lost his confidence which is crucial when your a closer. I'm not sure how it's happend, but now the Sox got a guy in the bullpen making like $7 million a year without a role.. |
