| Back in the day there were no storylines..it was mostly about the title and a macho thing that went along with it. Who is the best in the business pretty much.
In the days of storylines and WWE being a soap opera, I think it's fine to go this way with the product because to me it can be more interesting than just this guy vs. that guy for the title, but the storylines need to make sense, and that's a big problem in WWE that I see..
It's like, why is Lita cool with Snitsky now? He killed her fuckin' baby for christ sake..
WWE just needs to be more creative when they think about the outcomes of matches...Did Rene really need to cheat to beat Val this week? Val is a jobber and has been a jobber for years..
How can anybody take a push by Rene seriously if he has to beat a jobber by using the ropes? He should have hit Val with his finisher (which I think is a Death Valley Driver) and that should have been it. A clean win for Rene. |
