| Well..first of all do you think that every club should have one all-star? because I don't..I think the team that has it's field being used should have at least one star so the home fans have something to cheer for but other than that, I don't see the point of taking these closers from teams just for the sake of taking some asshole.
Also..do you think the fans should be allowed to vote? I say, yes..It is after all the game for the fans, but I do get pissed when I see Mike Piazza on this list when he is having a terrible year. I don't like Eckstein of the Cards but of course they are a very popular team..I don't like Scott Rolen of the Cards either..He's been out all year. Morgan Ensberg of the Astros has been the man for that team and is the only offense they've gotten oout of anyone.
Jose Guillen is an MVP canidate for the Nats and he got left out as well..
I also don't see why people were pissed about Jeter not being there..(He might get the vote in for the final spot)
Why are we supposed to be pissed about Jeter? I know he's a World Series hero and he plays for the Yankees, and is a huge star, but he's hitting .302
Michael Young is having a much better year than Jeter and the Rangers are having a decent season. He deserved to be there over Jeter, so I think Francona made the right call. |
