You can't deny Bonds' ability to hit, but if you look back to the impact of roids on his career, all you have to do is look at other power hitters, and how many times they fly out to deep left/right/center. Almost every time Bonds would've flied out to the warning track, he actually put the ball out, thanks to the added strength. That doesn't necessarily invalidate his career, but that 70 home runs shit is bunk, and it should be stripped from record. |
Bonds only admitted to taking steroids in the 2003 season because his trainer told him it was something else according to Bonds..
Is his story bullshit? Yeah, most likely...But there is no proof of when he started taking steroids and when he stopped if he did stop. That record, along with all his other records, and when he breaks Hank's record will all be celebrated by the MLB. Nothing will ever get stripped..
