| i just thought it might spawn a lawsuit b/c people are sue happy these days. i'm sure it could be seen as being offensive. i don't know b/c i've never had to deal w/ such a situation.
i don't think there should be a law suit, but i was meaning that it wouldn't surprise me if there was one.
btw, it is highly doubtful (though yes somewhat possible) that they'd make her a new yearbook. my sister works on yearbook and i asked her how easy it is to get new ones printed w/ little changes made. she says nearly impossible. at her high school, there was an article that a parent threated to sue over (about the effects of parents 2nd hand smoke on kids/students) and they couldn't get new books printed so they had to rip that one article out of every book. i almost felt bad for the yearbook staff except that that was a stupid article and my sister wasn't involved in writing it so i had a laugh instead. |
