Just seems to be the way with a lot of football in Europe generally doesn't it? Like when Greece won at Euro 2004 and Porto and Liverpool winning the last two Euro Cups (though granted Liverpools final match was fantastic). All those teams were largely soakers of pressure, sitting back, letting the other team have it, pressing in their own half....playing generally not very exciting footie. Hopefully it's just a trend or coincidence.
