| MLB franchise All-time teams... Considering how much I despise work, I figured a good way to kill time would be to pick a certain major league franchise, and pick the best player at each position that played for that team. I'll also give some stats and a few reasons why...I'll start with the Yankees, but then I'll do a few more later...
C Yogi Berra - 15-time All-Star, 3-time AL MVP, Most World Series Championships ever (10), Elected to Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972
1B Lou Gehrig - 2130 consecutive games played, 6-time All-Star, 2-time AL MVP, First player ever to have his number retired, Career .340 batting average, 493 HRs, 1995 RBIs, elected to the Hall of Fame in 1939, holds major league record for career grand slams (23), first player to hit 4 home runs in a game, AL-record 184 RBIs in 1931.
