That was something special...they had like everybody who was anybody in Boston sports in the house.
Then when Mariano Rivera got introduced the fans gave him a standing ovation..lol
Nice show of class and respect by The Yanks for clapping for the Red Sox..they didn't have to do that.
And BTW, in the game itself Mussina was pretty awful...He only has one win in his last nine starts against Boston. And Wakefield was pretty solid...The Yanks don't usually hit well against him for some reason. Sox won 8-1 I think was the final. |
