Basically if I were starting a team with no payroll limit and could pluck one person for each position this is the team I would give you. Outfielders are their everyday postions.

Second Base: Alfonso Soriano (Tex)
Shortstop: Miguel Tejada (Bal)
Third Base: Alex Rodriguez (NYY)
Left Field: Hideki Matsui (NYY)
Centerfield: Uuggh, I hate to do this but Johnny Damon (Bos)
Right Field: Vladdy Guerrero (Ana)
Designated Hitter: David Ortiz (Bos)
