Arizona, Anahiem, Florida all had low payrolls and won the World Series in the past few years. Just because you spend lots of money, it doesnt guaruntee you anything.
Its all about the management. JP Richardi (Tor GM) has proven that he has a plan and knows its gonna take some time to implement it. Sure if he had 100 mill to play with that would speed up the process but none the less he doesnt so he will play within the guidelines given to him.
I see the Blue Jays as a serious contender for the wild card either this year or next year. They need a little more talent in the rotation. |
