I still have that futon and use it for a couch. It's good if someone wants to sleep over for a night. It's not that bad. Just sucks for everynight sleeping. |
Ya, it is pretty thick. It is not super soft but has a lot of support and is not too soft or too hard. I did have a pretty shitty one before this that was like the one you are describing. The frame of the futon was metal and eventually fatigued and broke.
