| In order for WWE to connect like they did before it will take a major shift in business policy. They need a new "era" so to speak. I suppose you could call this the HHH era and that is not what the fans wanna see. The other problem is that you won't have another era until some wrestler connects with the fans and takes the ball and runs with it. Right now nobody has that potential. And I don't see anyone in the future. WWE is stale because I can predict exactly what will happen 3 months before it happens. There is no unpredictability. All the matches have the same formula. Brawl around, rest holds, maybe bleed, ref bump, run in, exchange finishers, do each others finishers, then either win by interference or a DQ finish. I don't know if the writers and bookers are showing their age, but it is becoming unoriginal and boring. |
