I of course love cruiserweight matches, but I must admit they get boring too. Something to me makes big man matches more authentic. I dont know feels more real. I know that doesnt make sense, but thats seriously what it feels like. Like the cruiserweights only have so far to climb before they reach a breaking point. Wrestling has always been made for the bigger guy, so when you see more cruiserweights its hard to get used to.
I actually prefer how it was in the 80's with the big fat guys wrestling. I didnt mind that at all with the likes of Earthquake, Akeem, etc. |
That is what I mean, back then people never complained about those guys. Now you have guys with 3 times their talent and they bitch whine and complain about every single big guy. I think people are getting too spoiled and forgot how to be entertained by wrestling entertainment itself. I wind I can be entertained by almost anyone up to a point and give most guys a change to do so. The only wrestling I don't find that entertaining is women wrestling. I find it looks too fake and poorly done. Some chics can pull it off that not many.
I always mark for the big guys because it is what I grew up on and don't get me wrong, I love the cruiserweight matches or the HBK's just as much. I just wish people would give the big guys a chance too. More so than they have been.
