Why the big guy gets no respect?

Why do big wrestlers hardly get any respect these days? And when they do, they have to have something amazing about them before people will even begin to give them a change?

I know that smaller guys can be faster and do some amazing stuff in the ring but what is wrong with mixing things up a little? If you look at the most popular wrestlers it seems to be a 50/50 split between big and small guys so where has all the love for the big guy gone? It just seems like people get more excited about the little guy compared to a big guy or even like a middle weight division better.

Why?
