| yeah.. i read that article a while back.. and i'm split on whether to agree or not...
TNA will be around alot longer than I think anyone gave them. Jarrett has become the HHH of TNA in the sense that he's got enough heat on him where wanna tune in see him actually lose.. and get pissed when he wins... if you hate him THAT much, then he's doing his job.
On the flipside... I didn't watch Final Resolution (as i don't watch any TNA shows), but I was pretty convinced that Monty would have walked away w/the belt.. They built the guy up big time leading in (like of like the Batista of TNA).
I do think they should've started off the new yr w/a new face holding the company's title... TNA has been around long enough for the world to know who Jeff Jarrett is.. you don't need a big name to always be the top guy... and i think that applies here...
I honestly can't think of ANYONE on their roster that can be a believable champ at this point.. AJ had his shot and i think he's better utlized in the X division... Monty lost steam and is now feuding w/a newcomer.. which will be interesting in that it will either devaule Brown even more by losing.. or devalue Trytan by losing after all the hype to bring him in. DDP... stop it! I like the guy.. but i don't wanna build my company around him as this time... he's fun, he's entertaining, he can 'go', but he's old... |
