Cocaine Makes for White Christmas for Santa Figures

PARIS (Reuters) - French customs officers have seized a set of Christmas Santa Claus decorations made of cocaine.
The smiling Father Christmases, complete with long white beard and red coat, were found in a van crossing the border from Spain into France on Jan. 13, France's Journal du Dimanche reported Sunday.
The Santas, which contained more than 11 pounds of cocaine, are thought to have been made in Venezuela.
French customs said they had previously intercepted shirt buttons, coffee beans, and toys made of cocaine. They even discovered one person with a leg plaster cast made of cocaine. |
