| Doug Mientkiewicz refuses to return World Series ball
Apparently, after recording the final out of the World Series, he stashed the ball away and kept it. The Red Sox want it back. he refuses to give it to them. Which isnt that bad, until you consider this quote from him:
"I know this ball has a lot of sentimental value...But I can be bought. I'm thinking, there's four years at Florida State for one of my kids. At least."
Pretty shitty move on his part, if you ask me, especially considering he makes millions of dollars a year |
