| I don't see how you can say that you were right. To have lost their good young pitching, they would have had to keep them this year and let them walk as free agents in the off-season. Instead they traded them and replaced them with more good young pitching. I think Billy Beane has done an excellent job considering his situation, and like Freak said, you can't judge these moves until you see how these guys work out. This coming year will probably be a down year for the A's, but they've got all these guys locked up for 5 years now, and if these guys turn out to be as good as they're supposed to be, the A's will keep on winning for those years. |
