NFL fumble

This was posted on yahoo, I'm wondering what it means, since Brooks is on my fantasy team:

Nov 8 Saints' quarterback Aaron Brooks took the blame for throwing a backwards pass that resulted in a 23-yard loss during Sunday's loss to the Chargers. "When I switched Deuce to the other side, he was leading out on the takedown," Brooks told the New Orleans Times-Picayune following the game. "As a quarterback, instinctively, you should hit the next colored jersey, which I thought was Deuce, but it was Wayne. That was a very, very, very bad mistake on my part."

Views: Gandy weighs 307 lbs. and wears No. 72, while McAllister weighs 221 lbs. and wears No. 26. It's easy to see how Brooks could make such a mistake. Wait, no it's not! This might be the worst play in the history of the Saints organization. And when you think about all those years that the fans wore paper bags (which should return any week now) over their heads, that's really saying something.
