| No, Americans do. Christ, the American sense of humour is (generally) crap. I'll admit that some US shows are great - Simpsons, etc..
But generally, you guys aren't funny. The scripted presentations of awards/general attempts at weak humour just really make me cringe.. that's meant to be funny?
I dunno if anyone from the UK watches Soccer AM, but there's this American correspondent they have, he's the epitome of the weak, flat humour I think of when thinking of American humour.
And I've found Americans just don't get irony. This American girl that came over here for a week was the most unfunny, unironic person I've ever met. Perhaps I'm generalising due to this bland girl, but.. meh. |
