| I was at a Yankees-Mets game in June and I saw about 10 fights in the section i was sitting (RF bleachers), no exaggeration. There was a half hour stretch where the cops were just constantly breaking up fights and arresting people. There was at least 5 or 6 fights in that half hour stretch alone. It was crazy
Best part was when one guy had a really hot girl with him, and after he got ejected, I started a "Let her stay" chant. What was even funnier was that it picked up right away instead of slowly building up. Its as if every guy in the bleachers was thinking the same thing, they just needed somebody to start it off
I've been to several Yankees-Sox games at the Stadium, and there's always been a lot of shit-talking, but not much else
On a side note, I recently started dating a Red Sox fan. This could get interesting come October... |
