Yeah but the point is the guy's a professional athlete, and a veteran, and he is expected to sit there and take it like a chump, an absolute chump... that is his responsibility. Like I said, there are teenagers hearing stuff just as bad and worse from drunk, angry fans in college sports, and you never hear about them tossing furniture in wild outrage.
It's the like Jays game I was at when there were guys giving Jose Canseco a hard time about his sexual abuse charge. How did he deal with it? He hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and finished with like 6 or 7 RBI.
