Holy crap, don't take it so personally.
It may be an overstatement, but I think it's arguable. I've always felt that running backs in general are overrated, with a few exceptions of course. Ricky Williams is not one of those exceptions. Ricky Williams was not the type of back that could create something out of nothing, a la Barry Sanders, and I feel his success is predicated largely on the effectiveness of the offensive line. I think there are plenty of guys who can fill his shoes adequately.
Boston, on the other hand, is a relatively unique talent and physical specimen. Bottom line being that I think Boston can be more valuble to the passing game than Williams is to the running game. I think Williams' shoes are more easily filled than Boston's.
