| I hate it when people steal things like taste and style from me in a non-friendly way.
For example, jokes, expressions, music, and movies.
Here is an example:
About a year ago I told this friend about how great The Cure was. I knew she would be into them. I kept nagging her to listen to them.
Over and over, she never seemed interested. She said that the music was too whiny, his voice annoying (and british). She seemed to mock me for listening to them at all.
About a month ago I go over to her apartment and she has like ALL of their cds. She's rambling on about how she lives to listen to them.
I don't know if she is pretending our conversations didn't exist or if she simply doesn't remember. Regardless, it annoys the shit out of me. |
