I heard the same thing about the teams Johnson wants to play for, but ESPN was also saying that New York doesn't really have the prospects available to make the trade worth while for the D-Backs, and that the Cardinals aren't really in a position where they can afford to take on Johnsons salary.
I can't understand why the A's and Giants aren't on that list. Both teams are in the thick of the playoff hunt this year, and Randy Johnson's hometown is in the Bay Area. Oh well. |
