Ive said it before and i'll say it again... We need Jobbers again on WWF TV.
Look at the problems
Approx 7-8 Hours of WWF TV a Week..
Same people fighting every week, and then fighting again on PPV..
WWF's tendency to protect stars with screw job finishes..
Value name wrestlers getting squashed in order to build someone for the enxt PPV.. and those same Value Name wrestlers are expected to get over in a future Storyline..
Bringing jobbers back into the fold would eliminate the problem of the same faces interacting with each other in a variation on the tag match we seen the week before..
It would make WWF PPVs more special, because that would be the time then the big guys clash heads.
Lower card guys would get more credibility because they would look strong going into the next PPV because they wouldnt have been squashed by Hardcore Holly for a solid 3 weeks prior.
Thats my take on it anyway.. thats how I grew up watching wrestling. Thats how i enjoyed PPVs more because people were kept apart and feuds could simmer over time via promo segments and the odd run in.. not in a 6 man tag match every week.
I think wrestling would benefit greatly from it anyway.. and the WWF isnt showing any improvement from its current method. |
