So not gonna happen, plus the fact that its not the answer. Bottom line is the Sox need to play better defense. Its not all Lowe's fault by any means. He is not a number 1 starter and will never be a number 1 starter. The quicker Sox fans realize that, the quicker they will get off the Tobin Bridge.
Not for nothing, but Rambo and Hyde represent what is widely known as "The Fellowship of the Miserable" here in Boston. Quick to point blame and will jump on whatever the media hands you that day.
I consider myself a much more rational Red Sox fan. Water always seeks its level, and so does a baseball team. 162 games is a long ass time, and I will guaruntee that come October the Sox WILL be in the playoffs.
I also wouldnt be the least bit suprised if Nomar is on another team August 1st of this year. Dont be suprised if Houston, LA or Anaheim go after him hard.
I have also heard rumblings of Mike Sweeney heading this way to Boston. Not my favorite player but i will take him.
RELAX RED SOX FANS !!!!!! |
I'm going to have to disagree with you about Nomar. They waited a long time to get him back, so it would make much sense to get rid of him. But I think he'll be gone next year, along with Lowe. Pedro isn't going anywhere. Pedro wants him to stay. Manny wants him to stay. And they want to keep Manny happy. Varitek is loved by just about everyone, so I don't see him going anywhere either. Bottom line, they'll sign Pedro and Varitek before everything's said and done.
