| JBL has cut some good promos since his character turn, but I'm still not at the point where I'm ready to plunk down $34.95 to see him get beat up. The only reason being is that he toiled in the midcard for so long. It's different when a guy like Michaels or Bret Hart move up from tag-team to singles competition and get a big push; they have the skills to have good matches, and charimsa and everything else needed. JBL is capable of wrestling a good match, I just don't ever think you're going to see a Match of the Year out of JBL.
I find his character fun to watch, because his character is an extension of who Bradshaw is in real life. That makes a good character, but he does need to knock it off with the minority and foreigner jokes. That's low class.
Like others said, we need to check back with this after Summerslam and see where his character is headed. He's either staying at the top or moving back to the midcard after next month, I have a feeling.
