The Olympics

They're 3 months away, and does anyone care?

I can only speak for myself, but it seems here in America, the Olympics are merely an afterthought. whats it like in other countries?

One interesting thing to watch for is how the U.S. does in basketball. The U.S. has long been the dominant nation in basketball, especially once professionals started playing. But other nations have been catching up. In fact the U.S. only placed 6th in last years world championships, and there are a ton of European and South American players currently in the league.

Also, some of America's best have backed out of the tournament, including Kobe Bryant, Shaq, Tracy McGrady, and Vince Carter

Also, its pretty funny how the Olympic Stadium isnt even close to being complete. Way to stay on top of things, guys...
